Sometimes we have to sit, think, and maybe even write down what’s important to us in our homeschool.
Like, what’s really, REALLY important, which means that sometimes we even need to go back to the real reason why we chose to homeschool in the first place.
Let’s do that today!⭐Freebie printable down below
When you try to balance out your homeschool days and plan them all out, it’s best to start with what’s most important.
Is math, science, or history extremely important?
Are family values, learning to be a hard worker, and developing a relationship with Jesus the important things?
No really, you have to think about it. Use this handy printable to lay it all out for you.
When you have your worksheet filled out, it will be easier for you to plan your homeschool days.
To figure out your true WHY for wanting to homeschool, do this:
First— focus on what’s most important
Second— move on to other less important things
Last— add in the remaining stuff that’s needed to be done.
Once you’re done with the worksheet, save it and place it in a special place (like your schoolroom or on the fridge) to remind yourself on the days when you need a nice reminder of what’s really important to you.
Remember, homeschool mama— we’re NOT trying to mimic the institution that we have chosen to NOT put our kids in. We don’t mimic the public school system, so every family’s “most important” things are all going to be different.
Yours will be different than mine. And that’s okay! ?
And finally, if I can encourage you today—
“The home is where the really important stuff takes place every day”
